AboutAbout Us

Come celebrate Fun Well Done at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, home of the Kansas City T-Bones. The stadium is just seconds off I-435, located in the Village West shopping area, adjacent to the Kansas Speedway.

After a 22-year hiatus, the Northern League was reborn in 1993 and quickly became known as one of the premier independent leagues for its characters and quality of play. In 2002, the Duluth-Superior Dukes moved to Kansas City and were named the Kansas City T-Bones, to reflect the region’s strong ties to the meat industry. A year later, the T-Bones opened play in Kansas City. The T-Bones went to the playoffs in 2004 and lost in the first round to Manager Andy McCauley’s Schaumburg Flyers. Overall, the T-Bones have had 12 players contracts purchased by Major League Clubs, including Brad Correll, who is back with the team this year.

Since its inception, the T-Bones have been known for fun and interactive promotions and events at the ballpark. Not only that, but nightly promotions also draw fans to the games. The T-Bones offer free parking every game and dollar hot dogs everyday, and even pay the fans free cash for parking in the lots on selected Mondays. And the fun does not stop there, because on Tuesdays fans receive free giveaways, Wednesdays kids can play catch on the field and Thursdays are family nights with affordable discounts for four. Fridays are theme nights, Saturdays there are post-game fireworks and Sundays kids run the bases after the game. That is what the Kansas City T-Bones call… FUN WELL DONE!
