Kansas Sports Museum in Newton is Open!

The Kansas Sports Museum in Newton is now open.  This new museum highlights the great history of sports in case with exhibits dedicated to high school sports, college sports, and Kansans who have played professional sports. 

The Hall of Fame at the Boathouse

The Wichita Boathouse is a historic landmark located on the Arkansas River, minutes from Century II, Hyatt Regency Wichita, Intrust Bank Arena, and Lawrence Dumont Stadium.  The Boathouse is currently being renovated as the new home for the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame and Events Center.  Renovations should be complete by June 2010.  The first floor of the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame at the Boathouse will have our inductee gallery on permanent display as well as rotating exhibits highlighting particular inductees.  The second floor of the Boathouse will be used as an events center and will be available to rent for weddings, birthday parties, anniversary parties, class reunions, business meetings, etc.  The Kansas Sports Hall of Fame at the Boathouse will offer renters the chance to hold their event in a truly unique venue and transform their party into an event to remember!  For more information about renting the Hall of Fame at the Boathouse call 316-262-2038 or email rental@kshof.org
