Worlds of Fun-the Midwest’s premier amusement park destination-offers 175 acres of excitement and fun for every member of the family.

For thrill seekers, a variety of roller coasters offer dips and loops from big to small for guests of all ages to conquer. The challenging beast of Timber Wolf proves there’s nothing like an awesome ride on a classic wooden roller coaster, and the 205-foot Mamba shows guests why it is one of the tallest, longest, and fastest steel roller coasters in the world. The family-friendly Spinning Dragons and a coaster for kids are perfect for thrill riders in training.

Roller coasters are not the only twisted attractions at Worlds of Fun. Guests experience the sensation of a coaster loop on ThunderHawk, a gravity defying freefall on 200-foot-tall Detonator, and a river rapid adventure on Fury of the Nile.

In 2005, KIDS run wild in the new PEANUTS™ Playhouse, a massive interactive attraction, that features various kid-friendly mechanisms – including blasters, catapults, conveyors, and buckets – that propel, throw, raise, vacuum, and dump thousands of oversized foam balls throughout the three-story structure. Worlds of Fun also features 16 rides for children, many of which are modeled after the big thrill rides in the park. Snoopy and the PEANUTS™ characters meet and greet families in Camp Snoopy, a two-acre playland themed around the world-famous comic strip.

Besides rides, guests at the park enjoy shows featuring award-winning performers, midway games, fun food, arts, crafts and shopping in a beautifully landscaped setting.

In the fall, get spooky tricks with your coaster kicks at Worlds of Fun’s HalloWeekends! Escape from Lore of the Vampire, discover mystifying magicians and unearthy musical entertainment, or explore a children’s funhouse and the terrifying Fright Zone, where Screamsters lurk in the fog (Admission includes all attractions). This is a family friendly event—you choose your scares from mild to wild! Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays September 24 – October 30, 2005.

Worlds of Fun is also a great place for group outings. The park offers six facilities available for catered picnics that accommodate groups from 40 to over 1,000. With discounted group ticket packages, personalized events and full service planning, Worlds of Fun wants to help you break out of your summer routine.
