Let’s “Putt” Your Mind at Ease! 2021’s Best Golf Trips

Fancy yourself as the next Tiger Woods? Or are you just looking to make a dent in your bucket list? If you are looking to play golf, there is an abundance of golf travel destinations that you will need to try before it’s too late! Let’s show you some 18-hole courses to give you the golf experience you deserve.

St Andrews

One of the greatest courses in the world, its lineage is unprecedented among golfers. All the big names have played there, and if you are going to tackle the behemoth of the bunkers, the two most famous courses include the 10-ft Deep Hell bunker on the 14th and the Road Bunker at number 17.
But if you are truly going to make your mark on this golf resort, it is this one. Full of history, Donald Ross, famed golf course designer, started his career by being an apprentice to Old Tom Morris at St Andrew’s in Scotland around 1899, and you can sense the history all around you when you tee off.

Pebble Beach

Pebble Beach is one of the great bucket trip lists. The Pebble Beach resort has an abundance of great courses for those with gusto, but the reimagined short course experience guarantees that you can make the most of tee time and get back to the restaurant in time for its award-winning cuisine.

Bandon Dunes

Another Scottish golf course akin to the Spirit of Scotland’s ancient links. A wonderful place for players to immerse themselves in the beautiful landscapes and courses, not to mention the Bandon Trails, giving you a beautiful sight of ocean vistas and rolling dunes.

Celtic Manor

A true underdog as far as golf courses of the world are concerned, the Celtic Manor has won an abundance of fans, was the host for the Ryder Cup back in 2010, and was named Europe’s leading golf resort by the International Association of Golf Tour operators in 2011. Undoubtedly one of the best golf trips out there. It’s best venturing to the Roman Road course, created by famed designer Robert Trent Jones, to get yourself under the skin of one of the dark horses of golf courses.

Whistling Straits

Based in Sheboygan County Wisconsin, this has played host to many major tournaments, including the PGA championships in 2010 and 2015. Designed by Pete Dye, this course comprises 7,790 yards on the Straits course, and the Irish Course is 7,201 yards of sheer beauty. Take the Irish Course and not only are you going to face a challenge but being able to see Lake Michigan in its resplendent beauty is truly calming.

TPC Sawgrass

One of the most iconic holes in the world is the 17th at TPC Sawgrass in Northeast Florida. With amazing sights and iconic backgrounds, it’s an amazing golf experience for those who are looking to hit the Sunshine State.

Dunes Golf and Beach Club

With many options in South Carolina, Myrtle Beach is one of the best golfing experiences on the planet. It has received many million-dollar renovations to give you a top-of-the-line experience and has won awards for being one of the greatest golf holes ever.
