Overview
The Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium is the most affordable family fun destination in Kansas City, nestled in over 200 acres of scenic Swope Park. With more than 1,000 animals and immersive exhibits, the Zoo offers a world-class experience for visitors of all ages. From its iconic polar bear, Nikita, to its newly expanded aquarium, the Zoo is a place where education meets adventure.

Special Events
GloWild: Legends & Lore
This enchanting nighttime event, in collaboration with LEKTRIK ART, features a mile-long spectacle of intricate, illuminated sculptures. Explore two themed loops—Atlantis and dinosaurs in the adventure loop, and enchanted forests and fairy gardens in the fantasy loop.
